Bandsintown is the leading platform where artists and fans connect. The Bandsintown Concerts App lets fans track their favorite artists and receive notifications when they or similar bands are playing in the user’s area. Bandsintown Manager allows artists to manage their tour dates in one place and sync them to their websites, blogs and social media sites.

What was provided?

  • Managed strategic partnerships with Squarespace, Bandzoogle and WIX, grew app install base from <1M to 20M internationally; led acquisition of ToneMedia and subsequent rebrand of Cellfish to Bandsintown and secured thought leadership opportunities for executives at key music and tech events like SXSW, REVOLT Music Conference, Midem, CMJ, Billboard Touring, DLD, and ADE.
  • Drove earned media in Billboard, Adweek, Ad Age and Business Insider, which resulted in peak app installs and numerous quality inbound business and media partnership leads.
  • Led executive communications and thought leadership opportunities including keynote speeches, product messaging, Q&As, corp bylines and profiles, directly leading to numerous quality inbound leads.
  • Championed ambassador programs, launched multiple websites, blogs and micro-blogs and authored all digital content on Bandsintown’s blogs, social channels, and email marketing to promote a dialogue, educate users and foster a sense of community.
  • Collaborated with in-house analysts, engineering and design to craft data-driven stories that left long-lasting impressions on our target audience.
  • Instituted Bandsintown's Speakeasy Music+Tech Mixer, which continues to draw an audience of 1000's of artists, producers, managers and booking agents from NYC to SXSW.
