Social Media Manager


As the Social Media Manager at Cast Influence, you will serve as the company’s public-facing humble expert, playful visionary, brand advocate, and community catalyst across our portfolio of clients. You’ll engage with and develop their growing social media presence. You are able to translate from company narrative to strategic, tactical execution, you will not only help tell our story, you’ll develop it. 

Both content manager and strategist, you’re a person who knows the ins and outs, whys and hows of storytelling on social media. You will work strategically and cross-functionally, ready to direct and coordinate activities for critical stakeholders across Cast Influence, as well as with the clients. 

You know what to do and why you’re doing it, needing minimal direction while welcoming feedback. You are focused on getting the job done with excellence.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop a cross-channel strategy for social media that translate top-level company narrative into day-to-day social content executed across Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, reddit, Instagram, and potentially others
  • Create engaging, high-quality, and on-brand social content activated at the right time and on the right channel
  • Be playful and relatable — this is not a job for an introvert — letting your personality shine through words, visuals, and video
  • Understanding of process and getting approvals from stakeholders and third parties
  • Have a strong bias to action and own the art of solving problems 
  • Focus! Your efforts clearly map back to team and company objectives 
  • Efficiently know how to reply, engage, and direct social traffic, as necessary
  • Manage a social media content calendar to coordinate activities 
  • Monitor social channels for important signals of community interests and concerns, alerting others within Cast Influence or the clients, as needed (e.g. through social listening and reputation management)
  • Establish a cadence of reporting and measurement that informs decisions/strategy
  • Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice, and terminology

Your Profile

This is not an entry-level position. The top candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in social media management and strategy. Consumer product and SaaS experience is a plus. 
  • You are not only comfortable in front of the camera, it’s where you belong! You are ready to be a face of Cast Influence and are comfortable creating ad hoc visual content
  • Exceptionally collaborative and communicative, confidently engaging with not only your team and stakeholders across the company, but with customers and thought leaders online
  • Demonstrated ability to see both “map and territory,” shifting seamlessly between strategic thinking and tactical execution
  • Expert at cross-functional project management
  • Excellent writing and visual content creation skills
  • Ability to work independently from a remote location 

Ideally you will have:

  • Experience with marketing analytics
  • Experience with graphic design
  • Experience in consumer products and SaaS marketing 
  • Experience in design thinking, Agile, and other methodologies
  • Built a following for a notable brand

Marketing & Public Relations Coordinator (Part-Time)

We’re currently looking for a creative, results-focused Marketing Coordinator to join our team in our Denver, CO office who will play a key supporting role in executing client Marketing and PR programs. This position is an entry level part-time position with an opportunity to grow with the company and to become a full time internal team member based on performance and company need.

Cast Influence ( is more than a marketing and PR agency. We offer clients a way to broad(cast) their company, share their story and influence key audiences, both locally and worldwide. We offer traditional and non-traditional marketing, PR, website design and development, SEO, growth initiatives, digital advertising, and community building with a focus on solving real problems with real impact. Founded in 2017 by Justin Kraft and Leah Taylor, who combined have over 40 years of experience across media, marketing, sales and brand positioning, having served in-house and on the agency side for several decades.

Here’s a mix of what you’ll be doing day to day:

  • Assist in the brainstorming, strategy, creative ideas and planning sessions.
  • Assist in creating email and outreach campaigns.
  • Produce client status reports and briefing materials for meetings.
  • Assist in tactical efforts for advertising campaigns
  • Administrative tasks to assist the team with marketing and PR functions.
  • Conduct reliable and accurate media research (editorial calendars, speaking opportunities, media/analyst list development) and provide teams with industry-relevant news and research.
  • Monitor clients’ social media presence and draft social media posts on behalf of clients (Facebook, Twitter updates, blogger relations, and more).
  • Produce strong written documents, including pitches, speaking opportunity abstracts, client communications, etc…
  • Edit videos and presentations as assigned.
  • Support relations with stakeholders, media, vendors etc.
  • Assist in tracking media coverage or PR metrics (e.g. web analytics and coverage reports).
  • Invent ways to streamline communication and plan execution.
  • Undertake general administrative and clerical duties.

Along with creativity, drive and self-motivation, your previous experience and attributes will include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant business experience. Willing to consider current college students focused on marketing, communications business, PR, journalism, and copywriting.
  • 1+ years of PR or marketing experience working with b2b and b2c clients via internships. Agency experience a big plus.
  • Strong interest in tech and desire to work with clients in that industry.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-moving, dynamic, and team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work with multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Fast learner with an inquisitive mind and eye for detail.

Senior Public Relations Manager

Job Description

We are in search of a Senior Public Relations Manager who is open to working as a contractor or freelancer with capabilities to work remote. This is a part time position that varies depending on needs. Potential to become a full time position in the future.


  • Strong experience building partnerships with senior leaders on the client-side and serving as a communications advisor.

  • Have excellent writing capabilities and a sense of humor when it comes to storytelling.

  • “Tell the client’s story” using all appropriate media and communication channels that support client goals. Bonus points for getting creative on the media, be it Reddit or another brand’s blog.

  • Seek-out, cultivate and maintain relationships with publications and journalists, influencers and content managers to facilitate advantageous placement of Cast’s clients. Be tenacious in all of your follow up!

  • Advanced knowledge of social media platforms (Twitter, Reddit, Telegram, Facebook Groups) to extend the reach of PR placements as well as connect with influencers.

  • Understand the pulse of key client audiences, in order to tap into trends in the news and flag breaking news that concerns clients and Cast Influence. Media hounds welcome!

  • Innate ability to research and maintain media lists, in the ever changing media landscape.

  • Creative – as PR is an art blended with a science. Candidates with out of the ordinary storytelling abilities are welcome!

  • Participate in weekly status call to ensure client goals and PR opportunities align.

  • Current technical skills related to PR department daily functions; project management platform, mail merges, email tracking software, and time tracking.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

  • 5+ years of relevant and progressively more responsible experience in communications and program management. Agency experience preferred but not required.

  • Proactive thinker who takes initiative.

  • Strong network of media contacts and relationships.

  • Strong collaboration skills to work with the Cast team and service clients.

  • Expertise utilizing Muck Rack or a similar media database.

  • Proficient about documenting work in project management software such as Asana and Airtable. If you have other programs you’ve come to love, please let us know!

  • Efficient utilizing collaboration tools like G Suite, Zoom, Dropbox and Slack.

  • Agency experience preferred.
