Community and Social Media Manager

Job Description

We’re looking for a Community Manager to join Cast Influence! As a Community Lead, you will have the opportunity to spearhead and shape our community strategy for us as we scale. This will start as a freelance or part-time position

What You will do:

  • Manage communication channels, including live chat, blog posts, and social media.
  • Develop a scalable social media presence with engaging content
  • Communicate updates and announcements through our published content
  • Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
  • Help monitor social media via tracking tools, conducting analysis on key metrics and share reports regularly
  • Monitor and source feedback, ideas and actionable information from the community.

What we are looking for:

  • 3+ years managing an online community
  • Experience with Telegram, Reddit, Steemit, YouTube Medium, Meetup, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and the capability of easily learning new platforms
  • Experience utilizing video as part of a social media strategy
  • Experience working with teams on external messaging
  • Ability to be self-directed, creative and disciplined in attempting different approaches and confirming success or failure
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects seamlessly
  • Knowledge of productivity tools and techniques that will help our teams work better together
  • Experience working in a dynamic startup environment
  • Solid understanding of video infrastructure and video streaming services
  • Must demonstrate an interest in learning about VR, blockchain and cryptocurrency
